1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing and using the Easy Magnifier app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

2. What the service is

Easy Magnifier is a mobile visual aid: it uses your iPhone's camera to magnify what you are looking at, light it up, freeze the image, boost contrast and read detected text out loud. Easy Magnifier is a comfort tool for everyday reading. It is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat or compensate for any visual condition, and it replaces neither prescription glasses nor an eye examination. Do not rely on the app in situations where a reading error could have serious consequences (critical dosages, safety) without checking by other means.

3. Using the app

You agree to use Easy Magnifier only for lawful and personal purposes, and to respect other people's privacy, particularly when using the camera.

4. Access to the service

Easy Magnifier requires no user account. After an introductory period, access to the features requires a subscription, preceded by a 3-day free trial.

5. Subscription and free trial

Easy Magnifier offers a single yearly subscription (and, where applicable, a lifetime licence as a one-off purchase). Entitlements are managed technically by RevenueCat; transactions are processed by Apple. In accordance with App Store rules:

Free trial: the trial lasts 3 days. No amount is charged before the trial ends. The app sends you a reminder the day before it ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial, free of charge, in your Apple Account settings.
Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account at the end of the trial period, then on each renewal.
Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
Managing and cancelling: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Unused portion of the trial: any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Refunds: all refund requests must be addressed directly to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). The publisher has no technical means of issuing refunds.

6. Intellectual property

All elements of the app (source code, graphic design, texts, logos) are the exclusive property of EURL Ladam Informatique Et Développement. Any unauthorised reproduction or exploitation is strictly prohibited. The images you capture with the magnifier belong to you and stay on your device.

7. Limitation of liability

App provided "as is": without warranty of any kind, in particular as to the accuracy of text recognition or read-aloud, which may contain errors.
Use at your own responsibility: you remain solely responsible for decisions taken on the basis of text read or displayed by the app.
Availability: we do not guarantee bug-free operation or compatibility with every device.

8. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time to reflect changes in the app. Changes take effect as soon as they are published in the app or on this website.

9. Governing law and contact

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. For any question: hello@loupefacile.fr

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union or another jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory statutory rights, nothing in these terms limits those rights.
